Washington DC – Today, Balanced Veterans Network (BVN) is excited to announce that Sheri L. Tarr, JD, Founder & Chief Advisor of ‘68 Partners, attorney, cannabis consultant, regulatory compliance expert, and successful entrepreneur, has joined BVN as our newest board member.

A former Big Pharma sales and marketing executive who commercialized FDA regulated products worldwide, Ms. Tarr has decades of experience operating in highly regulated environments. After working for Fortune 500 pharmaceutical and medical device companies, Ms.Tarr became an attorney who spent a distinguished career in the courtroom holding these companies accountable for deceptive marketing and defective manufacturing, among other regulatory violations.

“Increasing access to safe and effective products and treatments for reducing physical and mental pain has consistently been at the core of my work, said Sheri Tarr, Board Director for BVN. “Veterans who have bravely fought for our freedoms have earned the right to heal, especially from PTSD and other mental health disorders, and deserve access to alternative approaches that improve their quality of life. I am honored to join forces with BVN in its vital mission to combat veteran suicide, engage veterans in a healing community, and empower them to retake control of their well-being.”

With a unique background in the pharmaceutical industry, law, and cannabis, Ms. Tarr has a deep understanding of the complex business, operational, and regulatory challenges faced by cannabis stakeholders, including veterans. Since 2020, Ms. Tarr has proactively supported the veteran community through her work as a cannabis licensing consultant and in her role as a Director with the Cannabis Advisory Group which has helped raise funds that directly support BVN’s holistic health initiatives.

Ms.Tarr also continues to lead ‘68 Partners LLC, a successful global cannabis and life sciences consultancy specializing in licensing, commercialization, regulatory compliance, and practical business solutions.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have Sheri join the BVN family. Her passion and demonstrated commitment to helping veterans and their families is incredible and the invaluable leadership that we need,” said Victor Bohm, Executive Director for BVN. “Among her many talents, Sheri’s extensive business, legal and regulatory savvy, combined with her cannabis industry know-how and network, will help guide our decision-making as we continue to grow, forge strategic partnerships, and provide education and access to alternative therapies for our community.”

The Balanced Veterans Network (BVN) provides education, advocacy, and empowerment of alternative therapies for veterans and their families.
