Chicago Veterans Ruck March with Op1620

 Join Us in Making a Difference! 

Balanced Veterans Network’s Operation 1620 (BVN Op1620) invites you to stand with us this Memorial Day in Chicago as we ruck march to raise awareness for suicide prevention and combat the stigma surrounding mental health.

Every day, nearly 44 veterans lose their lives to self-inflicted mortality & suicide. Let’s come together to make a change!

Event Details

Date: Friday, May 24th, 2024
Location: Veterans Memorial Park, Glencoe IL (299 Park Avenue, Glencoe, IL 60022)
Route: From Glencoe to Evanston for lunch, concluding in Chicago along Lake Michigan (Lincoln Park)

Event Schedule

0700: Participant Check-In begins at Veterans Memorial Park
0830: Opening Ceremony
0900: First Wave Step Off
1100-1300: Lunch at Centennial Park in Evanston
1400 – 1800: Finish line/medals in Chicago along Lake Michigan (Lincoln Park)
